Automotive
In the automotive section, I tackle a variety of challenges, from learning about automotive systems to designing and manufacturing your own car parts. Utilizing a range of tools, from basic hand tools to 3D scanners, I show how I find problems and fix them. My focus is on showing the thought processes behind my decisions, highlighting pattern recognition and the reasoning that guides my troubleshooting and design process. This approach not only helps you understand the mechanics involved but also encourages you to think critically when faced with similar issues anywhere in your life.
3D Printing
In the 3D printing category, my projects explore the endless possibilities of this exciting, and now easily accessible, technology. I document my experiences from finding free solutions already available online to using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software to design and produce custom parts and prototypes. In addition to showcasing my projects, I show the tools used for maintaining my 3D printers and share best practices to ensure the best print quality and reliability.
Home Improvement
As a new homeowner, I am excited to start the journey of upgrading my living space while learning along the way. I understand that homeownership comes with its fair share of challenges. These range from everyday annoyances and maintenance, to larger projects like organizational systems and smart home automation systems.
My goal is to tackle new problems and document my experiences as I learn what works and what doesn’t. I embrace the process of figuring things out on my own, whether it’s fixing a leaky faucet, or installing a 3D printed pegboard on the wall.
I showcase the tools I have chosen to use, ranging from basic hand tools to more advanced equipment like lasers and 3D printers, highlighting how each tool contributes to solving specific problems. By sharing my insights and experiences, I aim to inspire fellow homeowners to take on their own projects, no matter how big or small.
On the other hand, I am happy to learn from experts in all areas. Tell me what I did wrong and help me on my next project. Together, we can navigate the challenges of home improvement, turning our houses into comfortable, functional spaces while building our skills and confidence along the way.
At Lots of Projects, I believe that with the right knowledge and tools, anyone can become a skilled problem solver. Rather than providing step-by-step guides, I share the challenges encountered along the way and how I solved them. Come learn with me as I explore new problems, design innovative solutions, and help you think like an engineer.
